Overview

  • The Fluman Rettig First Generation Scholarship is open to Florida residents who are first-generation college students at the University of Central Florida’s Nicholson School of Communication and Media. Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication or media are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility

  • Minimum 2.00 GPA
  • Resident of Florida
  • Attending the University of Central Florida Nicholson School of Communication and Media
  • Undergraduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree full or part-time
  • Studying in a communication or media-related field
  • U.S citizen or eligible non-citizen
  • First-generation college student with no prior aid default and no more than 132 credit hours
  • Demonstrate financial need
