What You'll Be Doing Safely operate front-end loaders to move, load, and stockpile raw materials Support mining and production operations to ensure consistent material flow Conduct pre-shift inspections and report equipment or safety concerns Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the shift Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures at all times What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Strong awareness of safety practices in an industrial or mining environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team on second shift Basic mechanical awareness and willingness to learn equipment operations Reliable attendance and commitment to safe, productive work Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $46.00 per hour Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled Shaping the future, building successes Heidelberg Materials - your springboard into the future of the construction materials industry.
