Sonic Drive-In Back of House Team Member Job Overview The Back of House Team Member plays an essential role in maintaining efficient kitchen operations and delivering high-quality food to guests. This position is responsible for food preparation, cooking, organization, and cleanliness while supporting a fast-paced team environment. Back of House Team Members help ensure every order meets Sonic standards for quality, speed, and accuracy. This role requires a positive attitude, strong teamwork, and the ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities Prepare food items according to company standards and recipes Maintain speed and accuracy in a fast-paced kitchen environment Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are consistently followed Cook and assemble menu items efficiently and correctly Work closely with team members to complete orders quickly and accurately Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and fully stocked Assist with food prep, stocking, and inventory organization Properly handle kitchen equipment and cooking tools Support overall kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow Represent the Sonic brand through quality, consistency, and teamwork Requirements Must be available to work at least two weekend days (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Reliable, accountable, and punctual Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with coworkers Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a kitchen environment Ability to follow food safety and operational procedures What We're Looking For Team players who support coworkers Individuals with a strong sense of accountability Positive and hardworking attitudes Employees who help raise the standard for food quality and kitchen operations Motivated individuals who perform well in fast-paced environments Dependable team members who take pride in their work Training location: Texas Best Smokehouse 3313 S.
