Direct Hire North Attleboro, MA Shift:

6am-2pm (Monday-Friday)

Pay Rate:

$22-25/hr What's a typical day as a Chemical Production Operator? You'll be: Loading and unloading materials, and moving them for further processing or shipment Setting up, monitoring, and preparing materials for chemical processing, refinement, and finished product production Initiating and monitoring chemical reactions and refinery manufacturing processes Operating chemical distribution equipment, scrubbers, dust collectors, pumps, and gas tank changeouts Completing documentation and refinery paperwork, including verification of weights and volumes Assisting with periodic maintenance of equipment (cleanouts, calibrations, filter replacements, etc.) Maintaining a clean and safe work area and following all safety and environmental regulations Reporting to the Department Supervisor and performing other duties as directed This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a H.S. Diploma or equivalent (required) Possess strong math and English skills, and attention to detail Are able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, bending, reaching, and pushing Have at least one year of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment (willing to train the right candidate) Are able to work with metallurgical refining and automated chemical processes, or are eager to learn Demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and chemical handling abilities Can operate manual and powered material handling equipment and power tools safely Are comfortable wearing personal protective equipment in an industrial environment What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to the next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
