Job Summary Responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload tractor trailers and move raw and finished materials throughout the manufacturing facility. This role includes accurately wrapping, labeling, and tracking materials, as well as performing general housekeeping and supporting additional tasks as assigned. Occasional heavy lifting is required. Key Responsibilities Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Accurately document pallet counts and item numbers Organize shipping racks based on purchase order (PO) numbers Log incoming materials into the system Maintain in-process inventory by delivering materials to work centers Open and prepare materials and supplies as needed Collaborate as part of a team to support operations and identify safety or process improvements Follow all safety guidelines, including stacking heights, speed limits, and facility signage Maintain a clean and organized work area Preferred Experience & Skills Previous forklift (hi-lo) experience Experience using computers and barcode scanners Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to remain focused and productive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to frequently lift or move up to 30 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs Available to work some Saturdays Work Environment Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment Work performed in a non-climate-controlled environment (seasonal temperatures) Moderate noise levels
