Position Overview:

We are seeking a strong, dedicated Lead Teacher for our 2-3 year old classroom. This role requires an individual who is confident in setting clear boundaries, establishing consistent expectations, and maintaining a structured yet nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate understands that working with toddlers can be challenging and is committed to staying patient, consistent, and supportive—even on the hard days.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain a structured, engaging classroom environment for toddlers Set clear expectations and age-appropriate boundaries for behavior Consistently follow through with classroom routines and behavior guidance strategies Foster social, emotional, and developmental growth in each child Communicate effectively with families and team members Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Collaborate with leadership and staff to uphold center standards Must-Haves (Please Only Apply If You Meet the Following): Experience working with children ages 2-3 in a childcare or preschool setting Proven ability to set and maintain consistent expectations and boundaries Willingness to follow through—even when behaviors are challenging Dependable, punctual, and reliable Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in a fast-paced environment
