All delivered with a 100% performance test passage rate. Summary Objective Operating and maintaining spray painting and sandblasting equipment for application of various industrial coating methods. Operate and maintain all equipment, paint, ventilation, compressed air, blast and PPE; related to the application of sprayed, rolled and brushed products in the industrial environment. Essential Functions May require operating a variety of heavy equipment, including: Class 7 & Class 5 Forklifts Combi Lift Reach Trucks Safely transport, load, and unload construction materials across the job site. Maintain daily equipment logs and perform pre-operation inspections and safety walk-arounds. Ensure proper care, routine cleaning, and basic maintenance of assigned equipment. Identify and report mechanical issues or potential safety hazards immediately. Always comply with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Tasks may or may not be limited to operating equipment. Assist with controlling and disseminating material to the production team. May be required to work in various weather conditions and challenging terrain. Perform additional duties and tasks as directed by supervisors. Competencies Material storage organization and inventory control Timely material distribution to production teams Load planning and staging for production efficiency Construction material handling and tracking Work Location This position will work out of the Normandy Manufacturing Facility in Jacksonville, FL. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00AM - 4:30pm Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Some occasional local day travel may be necessary. Required Education and Experience. 3+ years' experience with painting High school diploma or GED Strong attention to detail Must be tidy and organized Must be able to perform well under pressure Must be authorized to work in the USA Must have dependable transportation, valid driver's license, clean back-ground check and random drug screening consent Preferred Education and Experience 2+ Years' experience in Industrial Coatings. Some vocational technical training is desired. Ideal candidates should have NACE and SSPC Industrial Painting Certification Additional Eligibility Qualifications Any other qualifications needed. Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the USA.
