Knitting Position:

Knitter (2nd Shift)

Qualifications:

General laborer and knitting experience preferred.

Summary:

The Knitter is responsible for following general direction from the Knitting Supervisor and Shift Supervisor. Operates the knitting equipment to produce rolls of fabric and corrects fabric defects. Performs related work as required.

Responsibilities:

Maintains knitting production on machines assigned and associated records Responsible for maintaining quality of all fabrics being run Corrects fabric defects such as; butterflies, small collars, smashes, heavy/light ends, general distortions, low light weight beams, low warps and selvedge spools Advises supervisor of knitting problems and assists as needed or performs other work as required This position may have access to customer protected information. As outlined in employee handbook, this information should be treated as secret and confidential. Base pay:

$16.50 per hour (higher starting wage for textile experience) $1.00 per hour 2nd shift differential in addition to base pay
