Job Position:
2ndShift-Metal Facility General Labor Location:
WYLIE, TX 75098
Pay Rate:
$510+ weeklyShift:
2nd 6pm-6amM-F Description:
Material Handling:
Load and unload "age ovens"and move metal racks between extrusion and packing areas.Quality Support:
Weigh metal in racks, record the weights, and transfer the information to the department clerk.Packing & Shipping:
Band metal bundles, place press buggies in packing areas, and transfer finished products to the shipping department.Facility Upkeep:
Maintain a clean workspace by emptying trash hoppers and supplying sawing stations with wood or necessary materials.Machinery Operation:
Monitor extrusion machinery to ensure products meet specifications, and report any defects or machine issues to supervisors.Job Requirements Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.Work Schedule:
Positions often require 12-hour shifts (day or night) and a minimum of 50+ hours per week.Certifications:
While many general labor roles are entry-level, a Forklift Certification is highly preferred or required for specific material handling roles.Education:
