Job Description

Leads and supervises Team Leads and production personnel to execute daily production schedules.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, Employee Handbook standards, and all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Assigns and adjusts daily work duties to maximize productivity and workflow efficiency.
  • Coordinates with Production Control, the Production Manager, and Team Leads to adjust production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Monitors inventory levels of finished goods and work in process.
  • Make recommendations to improve production methods, increase equipment efficiency, improve material flow, and decrease waste.
  • Analyze and resolve production problems.
  • Ensure Daily Inspection, Equipment, and Poka-yoke checks are being completed as required.
  • Conducts performance evaluations for Team Leads and provides coaching and development feedback.
  • Identifies training needs and ensures proper employee development and cross-training.
  • Maintains Gemba Boards and enforces 5S standards throughout the production area.
  • Enforce 5S rules and standards.
  • Establish priority machines and ensure alignment between Team Leads, QA, and Maintenance to support production requirements.
  • Monitors and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) including Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics.
  • Recommend hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations in accordance with company policy.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
o Experience in problem solving and continuous improvement. o Will be required to train in Lean Manufacturing, RPS (Rhythm Production System), 5S, and
IATF / ISO 14001.
