Job Description

HouseSmart Construction
  • Installer IV HouseSmart's Installer IV role will be a team member that is knowledgeable of all aspects of the setup process for single and multi-section homes.
This is a hands-on opportunity to own all construction tasks on the jobsite and help with the training and quality check of others. This is a role that collaborates with the Crew Chief to ensure that all pieces of the project are moving as efficiently and smoothly as possible.
What You'll Be Doing:
Work efficiently and effectively in all aspects of the setup process, having the ability to work with a team or independently on the day-to-day. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, responsibilities with prepping and cleaning jobsites, roofing, basic masonry, various high-level electrical and plumbing tasks, etc. Haven't done some of these tasks before but have construction experience to help you learn these quickly? No problem

Safely learn to operate and eventually lead and own the operation of specialty heavy equipment. Answer questions and help support the team's growth. Help train new hires and Crew Chiefs in Training on the technical skills of the role. Problem-solve and proactively provide solutions to problems throughout any home install.

You have 4+ years of various residential, commercial, or industrial construction experience. You are a technical expert within many areas of construction such a masonry, roofing, etc. and would like to expand your expertise. You enjoy working with your hands and being outdoors. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with leaders to problem solve. You have a positive attitude and always work to be a team player. You have operated heavy machinery such as a skid-steer, tractor, backhoe, or a front-end loader and have a desire to operate specialized heavy equipment. You are comfortable with heights (using/safely climbing a ladder) and crawl spaces and can lift up to 50 lbs. You take pride in your work, working to always have high quality while always being as safe as possible. Why HouseSmart Construction?
