Job Title:
Quality Inspector Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to support inspection and testing of high-reliability components used in aviation, defense, and space applications. This role is responsible for ensuring all assemblies and finished products meet strict quality standards and customer specifications through visual, dimensional, and functional inspections Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections on assemblies and finished products Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical equipment Complete visual inspections per customer, industry, and internal quality standards Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) and support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Record and maintain accurate inspection data in logs, travelers, and systems Review and verify quality documentation and inspection plans for accuracy Approve or reject product based on specifications and tolerances Audit inspection records and ensure compliance to quality standards and procedures Support bench testing and microscope inspection of components Follow all EH&S and PPE requirements in manufacturing environment Why Work Here? Work Environment The position may require working on a second or third shift, with an initial 60-day training period on the first shift. The role involves working in a manufacturing environment, utilizing various tools and equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southbridge, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
