• Set up and operate stud welder and spot welder
• Operate small power tools such as buffers and grinders
• Utilizes other pneumatic tools to prepare stainless steel sheet metal chambers used in production of commercial cooking equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates hand grinder/sander to smooth and finish sheet metal surfaces
• Cleans/treats surfaces after finishing when required.
• Performs routine adjustments on all equipment operated to ensure continued conformance to specifications.
• Records production and quality assurance data, part numbers, quantities, serial numbers, and inspection measurements/results, on designated forms, tags, charts, or records
• Immediately notifies supervisor of any discrepancies regarding product, equipment, work instructions, or records.
• Performs all job activities in accordance with training, work instructions, and established company procedures.
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, grip and/or squeeze.
• The employee is frequently required to talk and hear and is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds, frequently lift up to 10 pounds, and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
