Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a 3 Year Old Lead Teacher, where your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored specifically for 3-year-olds, incorporating elements of literacy education, math, physical activity, and social skills. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and independence. Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate Montessori principles, early intervention techniques, and standard preschool practices to support holistic childhood development. Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, nutrition, and emotional well-being of each child throughout the day. Use strong communication skills to collaborate with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns with transparency and professionalism. Manage classroom routines efficiently while ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and standards for child welfare. Incorporate specialized knowledge of special education practices to support children with diverse learning needs or developmental delays. Utilize assessment tools such as standardized testing when appropriate to track developmental milestones and inform instructional strategies. Engage children in physical education activities that promote motor skills development and overall health. Maintain detailed documentation of lesson plans, child progress reports, incident reports, and other records necessary for compliance and continuous improvement. Experience Proven classroom experience working with preschool-aged children, especially in a daycare or private school setting. Strong background in early childhood education principles with familiarity in curriculum development tailored for 3-year-olds. Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning styles. Knowledge of Christian methods or similar educational philosophies enhances your ability to deliver personalized learning experiences. Excellent communication skills to build partnerships with families and collaborate with colleagues effectively. Prior experience in teaching physical education or literacy education at the preschool level is advantageous.
