Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Discover an energizing opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a Speech Language Pathologist working throughout the school year. From August 17th, 2026, to June 7th, 2027, you'll step into a contract role serving elementary students across two to three schools, fostering communication growth and supporting their academic success. This position offers a weekday schedule from 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM, providing a rewarding balance between professional impact and personal time. You'll work with an approachable caseload of roughly 40 students, offering individualized interventions while collaborating with educators and families.
Desired Qualifications:
Must hold, or be eligible for, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be a strong Clinical Fellow (CFY) Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Previous experience in a school setting is highly appreciated, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families Commitment to supporting diverse student needs through evidence-based practices
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate on student progress Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and group settings across assigned schools Consult with teachers and families to integrate strategies into the classroom and home environments Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and professional guidelines Immerse yourself in a collaborative school culture, providing crucial services that help elementary students thrive both academically and socially.
