Position Summary:

Transitions pallets from the Receiving dock to the pallet conveyor inputs. Removes rejected pallets from conveyor output spurs.

Pay:

Starting at $20.13/hour plus $1 second shift premium Plus, any performance incentives, bonuses, etc.

Work Schedule:

Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10 pm - 6 am

Essential Functions:

Ensures a steady flow of product to unload by communicating with Freight Unloader (who sorts and segregates the load) Makes sure pallet quality and type is up to standard. Ensures all products are secured on the pallets. Transfers product from Receiving areas to the correct input spurs within the conveyor system Maintains consistent awareness of current capacity of areas within the conveyor system while balancing what is available to be moved from receiving areas to input spurs. Ensures proper scanning of each pallet move in the handheld. Pulls rejected pallets from the pallet conveyor, corrects the issue, and feeds them back in. Completes housekeeping activities on a daily basis. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Abilities:

Must be able to communicate clearly in a professional manner. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Must be able to multitask, prioritize and to work independently or within a team environment. Must have good customer service and time management skills. Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.

Technology:

Must be able to operate Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) and understand the basic functions of an RF hand held computer.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

None Required, prior experience preferred. Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification Certification or License. High School / Equivalent p referred.
