Employee Appreciation & Employee Incentive Events Position Summary:

Assist in gathering and analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine the repeatability of incoming and finished product. Assist in maintaining quality control objectives and measures that align with corporate policies and goals. Assist in establishing and maintaining quality controls, methods, and equipment usage for production personnel and manufactured product.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1.) Performs mechanical, visual and dimensional inspection of parts utilizing metrology equipment on supplier parts 2.) Communicate to internal teams in a timely manner of quality issues 3.) Performs warehouse transaction in ERP 4.) Attach correct labeling to outside of cartons / pallets and stage product in the designated area for have put away 5.) Measure parts in accordance to standards of internal and external requirements 6.) Collect, record, and electronically store inspection records in an organized manner 7.) Follow Receiving & In-Process Inspection Sheets and Quality Books 8.) Record observations and reports findings to the correct department 9.) Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast pace environment 10.) Work as a team with co-workers to achieve overall company goals and objectives 11.) Other job-related duties may be assigned in addition outside of the scope of this position

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Abilities:

A high school diploma or the equivalent with 2 years of experience in In-process Inspection in a fast pace manufacturing setting. Must be a team player possessing good math, mechanical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. The ability to comprehend written documentation, engineered drawings and use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, optical comparators and dedicated check fixtures. Familiarity with Smart Scope or CMM, and Profile 360 is preferred. Exposure to Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment, work under pressure while meeting demanding deadlines. Requires the ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively with little supervision. A self-starter with an organized, results oriented approach. Individual must understand the basic fundamentals of Quality.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to reach overhead, walk, climb, stand, bend, stoop, twisting, lifting, and carrying tooling, packages and materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Able to push and pull carted material weighing up to 1,800 lbs. Frequent mental and visual concentration required for reading prints and measurements.
