About us Grade Potential is a leading provider of personalized, in-person tutoring services nationwide. About the student 6th grade student The student needs to work with a tutor for support with ELA (reading & writing) and math. The student is a 6th grader attending Windsor Knolls Elementary School. She has an IEP and high functioning autism. The family is asking for a tutor who has experience working with special needs students. The student's abilities have improved since she started working with a tutor. She needs a new tutor now. She currently needs some extra support when it comes to her reading and math and sometimes writing as she is behind in grade level and needs one-on-one support. She has been struggling with content retention and fully understanding the lessons. The goal for the student is to continue building her foundational skills when it comes to reading and math, with a special focus on grammar and getting caught up to grade level. The family wants 1 hour sessions 2 times a week, between 4pm-7pm, any day Monday through Thursday. The family is seeking a tutor who can meet at their home in Monrovia by the Landsdale Gazebo (park) not far from Green Valley Elementary School. Qualifications Ideal candidates have prior experience working with students with special needs. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching elementary ELA and math. Ideal candidates will have a valid teaching certificate. Willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles) Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor. Student Availability

4:00pm-7:00pm Pay & Benefits $25.00- 30.00+ per hour Flexible schedule
