2nd Swing Golf is proud to offer a new and exciting opportunity for individuals who are interested in Club Fitting. We are launching an 18 month program for those seeking an intensive pathway to becoming a Certified Club Fitter within our company. The ultimate goal of this rigorous program is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel as a Club Fitter. As a Fitter in Training, you'll embark on a comprehensive and immersive journey designed to develop your expertise in club fitting and sales. Learning the business as a store associate, participants will engage in specific training, mentoring and hands-on experience leading to a position as a 2nd Swing Certified Club Fitter. Please be aware that admission into this highly selective program will be limited to only the most qualified and motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong aptitude and interest in club fitting. Qualified candidates must be eager to learn, dedicated to professional growth, possess a desire to give back to the game of golf and committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
In order to learn the entirety of our retail business at the store level, each participant in the program will spend time in the following areas : Building rapport with golfers Creating positive, engaging and best in industry one-on-one fitting experiences Utilization of Trackman launch monitors, Quintic and Foresight systems to facilitate fittings Guiding golfers through the equipment selection process Product merchandising and organization Extending customer service through trade-in transactions and point-of-sale Executing club repair Accomplishing related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
A passion for the game of golf Experience as a tournament or college level player Above average knowledge of golf equipment and technology Aptitude for understanding the technical aspects of golf equipment Previous employment in golf industry (Preferred)
