• 55,000 annually Job description: Academy Director for Child Care Kiddie Academy of Countryside/LaGrange Countryside, IL Shift hours: M-F 9-6 and occasional weekend events and open houses NAEYC AccreditedWe are looking for a full time Academy Director to work at our new location in LaGrange/Countryside opening Fall of 2026.

This position would start in March and until the new Academy opens would work alongside our Directors in the offices of Kiddie Academy of Bolingbrook, Darien and Oak Park. Once needed at Countryside/LaGrange sometime late summer/early Fall the position would be full time at that location only. The Academy Director's hours would be 9:00am

• 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a very busy role, and we would prefer someone who has experience in a NAEYC Accredited school and/or with ExceleRate Illinois at a Gold Star level. Candidate would need to be Director Qualified with 24 credits in Early Childhood, including the Early Childhood Administration course per the current 407 requirements. The candidate must already possess a Director Level II credential with Gateways to Opportunity.

KIDDIE ACADEMY

has excellent opportunities for experienced child care professionals for a state of the art school in the LaGrange/Countryside community. Individuals will provide classroom leadership as they strive to manage a program that exceeds organizational standards, NAEYC guidelines, and corporate expectations. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm and work with children ages 6 weeks old to 6 years old.

Requirements:

Candidates must meet State DCFS licensing standards . A bachelor's degree in ECE or similar field is required. A Director Level II credential with Gateways to Opportunity is required. We are looking for candidates who are extremely passionate about Early Childhood Education, reliable, trustworthy and dedicated to building relationships with families and children.
