  • Full-time Position Summary Illinois Harley-Davidson is looking for a driven, organized, and customer-focused Service Manager to lead and grow our service department.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, developing the service team, maintaining high CSI standards, driving profitability, and creating an exceptional customer experience for every rider who walks through our doors. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment, understands Harley-Davidson culture, and knows how to motivate a team while keeping operations efficient and profitable. Responsibilities Manage all daily operations of the Service Department Lead, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, porters, and support staff Monitor department performance, efficiency, labor sales, and profitability Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve escalated customer concerns professionally Work closely with Parts and Sales departments to improve communication and dealership operations Schedule workflow and technician assignments to maximize productivity Ensure warranty processes and documentation are completed properly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Recruit, hire, train, and retain top service talent Track KPIs including labor hours, effective labor rate, technician efficiency, comeback percentage, CSI scores, and repair order averages Help create and execute service promotions, seasonal campaigns, and customer retention initiatives Ensure compliance with all Harley-Davidson operational standards and dealership policies Qualifications Previous dealership service management experience preferred Strong leadership and team-building skills Experience in powersports, automotive, or motorcycle service operations preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and perform in a high-volume environment Strong understanding of service department financials and KPIs Familiarity with dealership management systems and repair order processes Harley-Davidson product knowledge is a plus Valid motorcycle endorsement preferred What We're Looking For A leader who can motivate a team and hold people accountable Someone who takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Positive attitude with a passion for motorcycles and the riding community Ability to create a high-energy, team-oriented culture Benefits Competitive pay Health benefits Paid time off Employee discounts Opportunities for growth within a fast-growing dealership group Work around motorcycles every day Apply Today If you're ready to lead a high-performing service department and be part of a passionate motorcycle community, we'd love to hear from you.
