JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Accountant I reports to the Controller, working closely on the day-to-day accounting operations for the company. This position is expected to assist the controller with accounts payable, accounts receivable, month- and year-end closing, reconciling accounts, generating financial reports, and analyzing costing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Reporting and Analysis Assist with month-end close process and journal entries Perform GL account analysis and reconciliation Analyze costing variances and prepare needed reports Oversee the establishment and maintenance of Cost Method 2. Accounts Payable and Receivable Process vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies with internal teams Prepare weekly payment runs and maintain accurate vendor records Support AP aging reviews and assist with vendor inquiries Prepare and issue customer invoices Monitor customer accounts, apply payments, and follow up on outstanding balances 3. Internal Controls and Audits Ensure organization compliance with accounting policies and procedures as well as GAAP Assist with internal audits of processes and procedures and transactions 4. Data Analysis Compile and analyze financial and operational data to support decision‑making 5. Other Additional duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS 1. 40
hours Monday through Friday 2. Agility EMS office environment
EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCES / BEHAVIORS 1.
Bachelor's degree required in accounting or finance 2. Must be able to effectively communicate with both employees and management and maintain a positive working relationship when addressing and solving problems 3. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel 4. Fundamental knowledge of ERP system processes, Epicor is a plus 5. Commitment to company purpose, mission, vision, and values

$52,020.00 - $77,020.00 per year
