Accounting Assistant

Overview The Accounting Assistant supports the Springfield Restaurant Group's Accounting, Gift Card Processing, Accounts Receivable, and general office operations at our corporate office location in Mercer, PA. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable interacting with both internal teams and customers. Key Responsibilities Sales Accounting Audit daily sales records and reconcile monthly POS totals Verify deposit worksheets against bank deposit slips Organize and submit month-end reporting by the 4th workday Prepare and distribute weekly and MTD sales updates Gift Card Processing Process gift card orders from all channels Prepare daily and monthly gift card sales and deposit documentation Handle lost gift card claims Accounts Receivable Enter customer house charges Prepare customer statements and process incoming payments Office Support & Customer Service Answer and route calls on a multi-line phone system Process incoming/outgoing mail and vendor check mailings File paid invoices and support supply requests Assist with tracking sales features and comps for meetings Perform general administrative tasks as needed
