Jobs › Marlborough, MA › Accounting Manager Robert Half Accounting Manager Marlborough, MA Apply Description Our client, a growing public BioTech company in Marlborough, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional with strong technical accounting knowledge, NetSuite expertise, and public company experience to make an impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Manage general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Support preparation of internal and external financial statements and related disclosures. Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures. Partner cross-functionally with FP& A, operations, and executive leadership to support business initiatives. Assist with audit coordination and ensure compliance with public company reporting requirements. Drive process improvements and help optimize workflows within NetSuite. Supervise and mentor accounting staff as needed. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management responsibilities. Prior experience working in a publicly traded company environment is required. Strong experience with NetSuite is required. Oracle NetSuite is listed as a relevant finance and accounting software platform. BioTech, life sciences, or healthcare industry experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP, month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls. CPA or CPA-track preferred. Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
