Accounting Manager

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting department. Responsibilities Oversee and execute day-to-day accounting operations (General ledger, A/P, A/R, credit cards, bank reconciliations, etc.) Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, account reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Supervise cash management activities. Manage the financial close and reporting processes (For multiple entities): Monthly, quarterly and annual. Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports (940, 941, DE-9, DE-9c, W-2's and 1099's) Assists external CPA firm and provide required statements and information needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification preferred, but not required. 5 or more years of related experience required. Agriculture experience preferred but not required. High level experience with Excel and well as QuickBooks Desktop accounting software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong Management and supervisory skills.
