Job Description

Accounts Payable Reports To:
Corporate Controller Employment:
Part-Time or Full-Time Job Description:
The accounts payable clerk is responsible for paying and entering all invoices plus reaching out to suppliers to resolve payment issues.
Responsibilities Include:
Processes payables into accounting system. Communicates with vendors regarding status of payables and open issues. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date Maintains 1099. Monthly reconciliation to GL accounts Prepare month end AP journal entries Ensure and build vendor relationships. Maintain intercompany billings and receivable charges and payment application. Completing check runs. Running aging reports. New vendor setup and management of paperwork such as W-9. Performing credit reference. Assisting corporate controller with special projects. Answering the phones Any tasks deemed appropriate by the corporate controller.
Minimum Requirements:
2 Years of accounts payable experience in a manufacturing setting. Conflict Resolution/Problem Solving. Plex experience or similar software system. Great Excel Skills. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
