Accounts Payable Clerk - Byron Center, MI Martin Transportation Systems - 2.7 Byron Center, MI Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Accounts Payable Clerk Full-Time | Onsite | Monday-Friday We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting/Finance team. This position plays a key role in supporting the company's financial operations by ensuring invoices, payments, and vendor accounts are processed accurately and efficiently. What You'll Do Process high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy and attention to detail Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way match) Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment issues and status updates Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and compliance documentation Assist with month-end close activities and reporting Support audits and maintain organized financial records Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls What We're Looking For 13 years of accounts payable or accounting experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Professional communication and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion Transportation or logistics industry experience is a plus Education & Experience High school diploma required Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Work Environment Full-time onsite position MondayFriday business hours Fast-paced office environment with high transaction volume Occasional additional hours during month-end or audit periods Why Bay Logistics?
