Job Description

Per Diem Hospital Director of Pharmacy in Byron Center, MI 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Byron Center, MI 49315 Per diem RPh on the Go 77 reviews Per diem Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. This per diem position offers an opportunity to lead pharmacy operations in a behavioral health setting as Director of Pharmacy. The role is ideal for an experienced pharmacy professional skilled in management and familiar with Omnicell automation and HCS order entry systems. It involves overseeing order verification and maintaining inventory without technical support, ensuring smooth daily pharmacy functions.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Saturdays remote, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Contract duration: 8 weeks
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Maintain pharmacy inventory to ensure availability and compliance Lead pharmacy staff and manage pharmacy operations in the absence of tech support Work within a behavioral health environment, adhering to specific protocols and standards
Qualifications:
Valid Michigan pharmacy license is required Proven pharmacy management experience, preferably in a hospital or behavioral health setting Experience with Omnicell automation system strongly preferred Familiarity with HCS order entry system is a plus Ability and willingness to travel if necessary
