Accounts Payable Specialist

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support critical accounting operations for one of our clients. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with strong SAP experience, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of GAAP. The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role across Accounts Payable while supporting Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payments Process transactions and maintain vendor data within SAP Perform AP account reconciliations and support month-end close activities Prepare journal entries and assist with General Ledger support Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies Use advanced Excel skills to analyze data, reconcile accounts, and create reports Support audits and respond to internal and external inquiries as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting roles Required experience working in SAP Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis Strong working knowledge of GAAP Experience supporting Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills Benefits This role offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays. Pay Details:
