Role Description The Accounts Receivable Specialist works within the Sales and Finance team to manage billing clients, verifying transactions, monitoring incoming payments, and spotting accounting discrepancies, under the direct oversite of the Wholesale Controller and Sales Director. This TEAM maintains overall financial health of the organization through completion of the sales process with an emphasis on collections.

RESPONSIBILITIES

include but not limited to:

• Maintain relationships with B2B customers through daily routine activities
• Works with sales team to ensure timely and accurate product sales invoicing
• Manage customer touchpoints with regularity via multiple communication channels
• Process accounts receivable transactions
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Provide support for internal and external audits
• Prepare cash receipts for processing
• Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage collection efforts and associated functions

QUALIFICATIONS

• At minimum, an associate's degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years of experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze large sets of data
• High degree of familiarity with accounts receivable functions

POSITION

This position is full-time with an annual salary $50,000-$60,000 based on experience.

STATUS Position is considered a full-time employee, exempt from Fair Labor Standards Act's (FLSA) overtime regulations and, therefore, not entitled to overtime pay.
