Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM The Greens at Lincolnton is seeking a compassionate, creative, and energetic Activities Director to lead our resident engagement program. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing meaningful activities that enhance the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive well-being of our residents. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with seniors and a talent for creating programs that bring joy, connection, and purpose to each day. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and implement daily, weekly, and monthly activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities. Develop and maintain a creative activity calendar featuring recreational, educational, spiritual, and therapeutic programs. Lead both group and one-on-one activities to encourage resident participation and engagement. Coordinate special events, outings, holiday celebrations, and volunteer involvement. Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized resident care plans. Document resident participation and maintain records in accordance with state and federal regulations. Manage activity supplies and stay within budget. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations related to activity programming in long-term care. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification as an Activities Director (NCCAP or state-approved certification) is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification. Previous experience in activities, recreation, or a related field, preferably in a long-term care or senior living setting. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, upbeat, and resident-focused. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Why Join The Greens at Lincolnton?
