Position Summary:

The Activity Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive activity program that meets the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and lead daily activity programs for residents Plan special events, outings, and holiday celebrations Complete activity assessments and documentation in compliance with regulations Encourage resident participation and engagement Coordinate with other departments to enhance resident quality of life Supervise activity staff and volunteers Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines

Qualifications:

Previous experience in long-term care or activities preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Compassionate, creative, and energetic personality Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends Certification (or willingness to obtain) as an Activity Director
