This role involves creating engaging learning experiences tailored to diverse needs, fostering independence, and promoting growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, patience, and experience working with individuals requiring adaptive skill development. A background involving university experience is preferred to ensure a strong foundation in instructional techniques and developmental strategies.
NOTE THIS JOB IS FOR INDIVIDUALS WILLING TO WORK IN THE AFTERNOONS 3
30P.M.-8:00P.M.
AS WELL AS WEEKENDS.
Bilingual:
English & Spanish (Preffered) Must have a degree in psychology, child development, education, or related fields. Duties Implement individualized training plans to enhance adaptive skills in clients Conduct engaging instructional sessions focusing on daily living, social, and vocational skills Assess client progress regularly and adjust training methods accordingly Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support Maintain detailed records of training activities & progress notes Foster a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and independence You will be working in our clients homes and their communities this may be: East Los Angeles, South Central, San Gabriel/ Pomona or even West Los Angeles Skills Prior experience or familiarity with university-level coursework or research related to education or developmental support is highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients of varying abilities Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and documentation requirements Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet individual needs effectively Ability to develop creative instructional strategies tailored to diverse learning styles Commitment to ongoing professional growth in the field of adaptive skills training
Pay:
$30.00 - $50.00 per hour
