Roane State Community College Job Summary Emphasis will be placed on teaching students in on-ground lecture and laboratory courses. •

•Introductory Chemistry I & II with laboratory •

•General Chemistry I & II with laboratory •
CHEM 2010/2020
•Organic Chemistry I & II with laboratory Chemistry courses are offered at the following campuses: Oak Ridge, Roane, Cumberland, and Campbell county. Teaching loads may include day or evening hours and/or satellite campuses. Applicants should submit a cover letter, resume and an unofficial copy of relevant transcripts. Please indicate the times and locations at which you are available to teach and explain which courses you are interested in teaching.

Cover letter, Resume or CV, 3 Professional References, Unofficial Transcripts Job Duties Teaching students in on-ground lecture and laboratory courses. Minimum Qualifications Candidates qualifying to teach Introductory/General Chemistry lectures must have a minimum of a Master's degree with 18 or more graduate semester hours in chemistry from a regionally accredited institution. Candidates qualifying to teach Organic Chemistry lectures must have graduate coursework in organic chemistry. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience teaching lecture and laboratories is desired. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated ability to teach traditional face-to-face classes. Use of technology (Zoom, D2L) to support student learning is expected. Candidates who are contacted for an interview must notify Human Resources in writing of any reasonable accommodation needed prior to the date of the interview.
