SUNY Sullivan Adjunct Faculty -
Green Building Technology Position Description About Us:

Job Summary:
SUNY Sullivan's Department of Science, Technology, and Mathematics is now accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach existing online courses in our Green Building Technology and Construction Technology degree programs. Examples of classes to be covered include Intro to Renewable Energy Systems, Solar & Wind Systems, Building Automation and Controls, Energy Management, and Green Building Materials. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a commitment to the community college philosophy and a culture of belonging.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Green Technology or Renewable Energy required or professional equivalent. Master's degree preferred Exceptional organizational and communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills as necessary for working with diverse groups of people with varying backgrounds Must possess a strong commitment to student success
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver well-prepared lessons Hold office hours Engage in regular and timely communication with students and staff via college email Develop and follow clear and transparent grading practices Adhere to college and department policies Submit requested grades, records, and academic paperwork by posted deadlines
Salary:
Salary is determined by a candidate's rank at SUNY Sullivan, based on teaching experience, education, etc. The full salary range is $655 to $740 per contact hour/course credit per semester.
