Position Information Job Title Adjunct Instructor of Development (HRD) for WDCE Job Description Teach Development (HRD) courses on a part-time basis in the Workforce Development and Community Education (WDCE) division.
Location:
Eckerd Camp in Boomer, NC Full Time or Part Time Part Time Essential Duties Summary Include but are not limited to: Teach HRD courses effectively and engagingly. Communicate with students and email as needed. Complete course administrative paperwork in a timely manner (attendance, grades, etc.). Assist in creating a safe, positive, successful learning environment for students Required Qualifications Associates degree in a related field;
Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed under general supervision in an office or classroom setting with appropriate climate controls. Travel, early morning, evening, and weekend work may be required. Essential functions of this position require lifting, manual dexterity, ability to communicate. Medium work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally; involves sitting only occasionally, walking and standing are required regularly, incumbents may be required to kneel, crouch/squat, crawl, climb, stoop, turn/twist, balance, reach, or handle.
Mental Application:
Utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, critical thinking, adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills are important. Salary Grade Salary Commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the college salary plan.
