Job Description

Job Summary:
The Administrative and Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Executive and Operations team, while also managing the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for clinical staff and contractors across all BRMC sites. In the administrative capacity, this role provides administrative support to daily office operations and communications, assists leadership and Board activities, and supports basic HR duties. In the credentialing function, the role ensures that all clinical personnel are properly credentialed and privileged in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate and up-to-date credentialing files; assisting providers with the initiation, completion, and renewal of credentialing and privileging applications; and coordinating closely with the Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO). This position may also assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission, vision, and core values of BRMC.
Essential Job Duties and Functions:
Administrative Greets and directs visitors in a professional courteous manner Performs administrative tasks including copying, filing, scanning, emailing, and faxing Manages all incoming mail and correspondence Monitors and purchases all office-related supplies and office equipment ensuring items are always maintained Coordinates the logistics of meetings including but not limited to Board meetings, provider interviews, staff meetings, and socials Prepares and distributes Board and Finance Committee packets Maintains the Board Roster and acts as a liaison to the Board Secretary taking Board Minutes for all Board meetings Acts a liaison with BRMC leadership, Board president, and Board members Provides HR support as needed in recruitment and retention, including scheduling interviews, pre-employment screenings, and new hire/student orientation, employee recognition, and staff events. Credentialing Completes provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications; coordinates applicant information with the CVO for initial and reappointment applications; monitors applications and follows-up as needed to ensure timely credentialing; pays attention to detail, ensuring applications are complete and accurate including work history, current work status, malpractice insurance, privileges and attestations. Processes applications for appointments and reappointment of privileges for applicable clinical staff. Compiles and maintains current and accurate credentialing data for all clinical staff. Maintains copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other applicable and required credentialing documents for all clinical staff. Maintains licensed staff credentialing documentation folders to include NPI, licenses, DEA certificates, NPDB, and correspondences. . Tracks license and certification expirations for all clinical staff and works with supervisors and staff to ensure timely renewal. Provides regular reports to Human Resources, including specified metrics, such as time for new provider credentialing application approval; independently develops statistical reporting measures as needed and/or as directed by supervisor.
