Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support social-emotional growth. Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of children, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive development, fine and gross motor skills, and social interaction. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives. Maintain detailed records of student progress, standardized testing results, and lesson plans to ensure continuous improvement. Supervise classroom assistants and volunteers to ensure a safe, organized, and nurturing learning environment. Skills Extensive experience in preschool or daycare settings with strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques. Proficiency in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs, including those requiring special education support. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with classroom experience involving standardized testing and assessment tools. Strong understanding of behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that promote curiosity and active learning in young children.
