- Serve as a welcoming presence in the parish office, greeting visitors and responding to phone/email inquiries
- Assist with general office operations, scheduling, and correspondence
- Maintain parish records and databases
- Support parish communications as needed (bulletin coordination, announcements, etc.)
- Collaborate with parish staff and volunteers on events and initiatives Bookkeeping & Financial Duties
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with diocesan policies
- Prepare bank deposits and reconcile accounts
- Assist in payroll processing and reporting
- Generate financial reports for the pastor and finance council
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions
- Assist with budget tracking and annual reporting ⸻ Qualifications
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to the mission and values of the Catholic Church ⸻ Work Schedule
- Part-time or full-time (to be determined based on candidate and parish needs)
- Some flexibility may be required during peak times (e.g., fiscal year-end, major parish events) ⸻ Compensation
