Legal, General Management Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a prominent full-service Michigan law firm in the search for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support its Litigation and Corporate Finance practice groups. This hybrid opportunity, based in the firm's Milwaukee office, offers the chance to work alongside exceptional attorneys and legal professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment. The firm is open to both direct hire and temp-to-hire candidates, creating flexibility for professionals seeking either a long-term permanent opportunity or a pathway to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support attorneys and paralegals with legal document preparation, filing, and case management Manage calendars, court deadlines, depositions, travel, and trial logistics Handle state and federal e-filings, including PACER and ECF Open new matters, run conflicts checks, and prepare engagement letters Maintain client files and assist with billing, expense reports, and correspondence Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Qualifications:
2+ years of litigation experience in a mid-size law firm Strong knowledge of court procedures and e-filing systems Advanced Microsoft Word and proofreading skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Experience with NetDocs, Intapp, LegalKey, Chrome River, BigHand, or similar systems preferred High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional seeking growth within a highly respected firm.
