  • San Diego San Carlos UMC is an inclusive and welcoming church located in the San Diego neighborhood of San Carlos.
San Carlos UMC is blessed with a strong ministry and mission and is currently seeking a 32-hour per week Church Administrator to manage the general operations of the church including finance, human resources, facilities, communications, and management of administrative staff, as well as ministry support as needed. The successful candidate must be a highly organized and skillful multitasker with 5+ years of non-profit and/or church management experience. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to interact effectively with the pastor, staff, and church and committee members.
Requirements:
  • Degree in business, accounting or related field or 5+ years of operational experience in business and leadership.
  • Strong business administration and management skills in the non-profit and/or church sector.
  • Experienced with California and federal human resources practices and labor laws.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, church management software, and benefits administration.
