Under general direction from the City Manager, the Administrative Services Director (ASD) plans, directs, and oversees Administrative Services, with primary responsibility for citywide finance and budget functions and executive oversight of human resources, risk management, and information technology. The ASD serves as the City's senior finance executive, principal budget officer, and a member of the City's executive team. The City of Sonoma is seeking an accomplished, collaborative, and forward-thinking administrative professional to serve as its next Administrative Services Director. The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical leader who will serve as a trusted advisor to the City Manager and City Council, providing sound guidance on complex administrative, financial, operational, and organizational matters. The candidate should be comfortable translating complex information into clear recommendations, aligning resources with community priorities, and ensuring strong internal systems, policies, and practices support the City's long-term sustainability. The annual salary for the Administrative Services Director is $185,217 - $225,132 and is negotiable depending on qualifications. The City also offers an outstanding benefits package.
