Job Description
The Director of Constituent Services is in charge of overseeing and managing all constituent operations. Oversee and manage constituent services operation and team Ensure front desk in the statehouse and at the government center are staffed during business hours. Oversees constituent services staff to ensure accurate data entry on incoming correspondence, external messaging is consistent and accurate, responses are given in timely fashion to ensure a customer focused environment. Provide weekly reports on correspondence to executive team and the Attorney General Serves as the primary point of initial contact to visitors, legislators, and invited guests of the AG and Executive Team when they arrive at the Statehouse. Provide assistance to AG and Executive Team, as appropriate, in communicating with internal and external constituents and staff. Manages a variety of special projects for the AG and Executive Staff, as needed. Other duties as assigned. 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred but not required. Exceptional written and verbal communications Detail oriented and organized Responsible for having a broad understanding of current events Detailed knowledge of local, state and federal government Keep abreast of state and federal legislation that impacts constituents Ability to learn new concepts quickly Able to handle stressful situations
