Job Description
Executive Director Our small non-profit client in the Concord, NH community is seeking a strong leader for their Executive Director role. You'll provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership to advance the organization's mission and ensure long-term sustainability. Responsibilities of the Executive Director Establish, maintain, and execute on operational priorities in partnership with the Board of Trustees Oversee program administration, ensuring operational efficiency and consistent service delivery, program quality, and reliability Lead, support, and develop a mission-driven team with clear expectations and accountability, fostering a collaborative, respectful, and stable work environment Partner with board and staff financial leadership on budgeting and forecasting; monitor financial performance and help strengthen sustainability through funding diversification Define and report on metrics that measure operational success and progress towards the organization's strategic goals Represent the organization within the community and broader human services sector; develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and funders Qualifications of the Executive Director Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred Significant leadership experience in a nonprofit, human services, or related environment, typically including 7+ years of progressive responsibility, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or supervisory role; plus 1 year of experience in a health care facility; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience for candidates with demonstrated success in organizational leadership and operations Proven ability to strengthen operations and improve performance while maintaining team stability and trust Strong organizational leadership and management capabilities, with a focus on clarity, accountability, and follow-through Financial and operational acumen; comfortable with budgets, revenue, staffing, capacity, performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to navigate complexity and translate strategy into clear priorities Please share your resume in confidence for this Executive Director opportunity.
