Full-Time, Exempt- Position Overview The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operations of the senior living facility.
- Key Responsibilities
- Executive Director
- Leadership and Operations Provide strategic direction and leadership to the facility to ensure a high standard of care and quality of life for all residents.
- Resident Care and Satisfaction Promote a person-centered approach to care, prioritizing the dignity, independence, and well-being of residents. Build relationships with residents and families, addressing concerns promptly and effectively. Collaborate with staff to create a welcoming, engaging, and safe environment.
- Financial and Business Management Prepare and manage the facility's operating budget to meet or exceed financial goals.
- Staff Development and Management Recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff to support the facility's mission and operations.
- Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance Ensure the facility meets or exceeds standards set by regulatory agencies, including inspections and audits. Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement plans. Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations to keep the facility competitive and compliant.
- Qualifications
- Executive Director
- Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Gerontology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in senior living, long-term care, or healthcare management. Proven track record of managing budgets, achieving financial goals, and maintaining high occupancy rates.
- Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and decision-making abilities with a focus on team collaboration.
- Certifications Certified Assistant Living Administrator (CALA) or Administrator in Training (AIT) certification is highly preferred, depending on state requirements.
- Work Environment and Physical Requirements Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be able to move freely throughout the facility to interact with residents and staff. Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, or conferences.
- Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Pay:
$95,000.00- $105,000.
