Treasurer/Business Manager

Job DescriptionJob Description St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Akron seeks a Treasurer/Business Manager to work part-time (20-25 hours/week). As Treasurer, the duty is to ensure that all financial matters-contracts, payroll, assets, liabilities and records-are handled securely, legally, and ethically by (1) overseeing the work of our full-time Financial Administrator; (2) providing regular reports to the Vestry and congregation; and (3) leading the process for budgeting and auditing. As Business Manager, the duty is to assist with oversight of the property, equipment, and supplies; and with oversight of the day-to-day work of the program and support (viz., non-clergy) staff in consort with the Rector and others.
