Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of a large professional services office.
- Partner with office leadership to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and innovation.
- Collaborate with finance, technology, talent management, and other shared services teams to support business objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on operational performance and project outcomes.
- Oversee administrative functions, ensuring high levels of service and operational effectiveness.
- Manage office budgets, expenses, billing support, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial processes.
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee office infrastructure needs.
- Partner with real estate leadership on space planning, lease administration, and workplace projects.
- Provide leadership to administrative support teams, records management, operations, and other office services functions.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, wellness activities, and community outreach events.
- Ensure business continuity planning and emergency preparedness programs remain current and effective.
- Support local HR functions including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation administration, onboarding, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and operational standards.
- Assist with relocation and immigration-related matters when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 8 years of office administration, operations leadership, or human resources management experience.
- Prior experience within a law firm or legal services environment strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of legal industry operations, trends, and best practices.
- Proven success partnering with senior leadership to execute business strategies.
- Experience leading teams within a matrixed organizational structure.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing abilities.

- High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate sensitive situations.
- Strong change management and process improvement experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
