This role will report directly to the Corporate Stock Administration team and will be a part of the Corporate Controllers team. The ideal candidate is thoroughly familiar with global equity incentive programs (stock options, RSUs, and ESPP) for a large U.S. public technology company. The Stock Plan Administrator role is an excellent opportunity to join a lean and passionate team at a high growth mission driven company. The role requires someone who has experience operating in a high-paced technology company environment with the associated reporting deadlines and requires 'out of the box' thinking to make processes more efficient and streamlined. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, have strong organization and communication skills, and be very hands-on. The Stock Plan Administrator role may have 1-2 direct reports. This role interfaces extensively with the following teams: HR, Payroll, Legal, Technical Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and both Internal and External Audit. What You'll Do Process transactions involving equity awards, RSU and Option vesting, option exercises, and ESPP purchases, with a strong collaboration between HR and Payroll Perform reconciliation of records between Stock Administration, HR system, and Payroll systems Maintain database integrity and ensure accuracy of record-keeping of equity data using Equity Edge Online Provide excellent customer service to equity participants at all levels and to partners across departments and respond quickly to employee questions in a courteous and satisfactory manner, including training on equity topics Help develop materials and other employee communications, assist with employee education programs, including conducting employee trainings and information sessions (in person and via video conferencing) Assist with other projects as needed What You'll Bring 8+ years stock administration experience in a senior role in a U.S. public company Very strong attention to detail and ability to perform self-audit to always ensure data integrity and utmost accuracy Excellent problem-solving skills and proven ability to make informed decisions Active CPA or CEP license preferred, but not required Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Tesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
