Discover more about the company at hallgroup.com. About the Role This role is central to the integrity of our daily cash operations and the modernization of our treasury infrastructure. The ideal candidate will seamlessly bridge traditional cash management with forward-thinking systems expertise — managing daily fund flows while also architecting forecasting tools, optimizing ERP workflows, and driving automation across our multi-entity portfolio. Additionally, this individual will support our ongoing ERP transition by resolving processing backlogs, mapping cash flows, and building robust reporting frameworks that enable executive-level decision-making.
Primary Responsibilities :
Manage daily cash operations, including all incoming and outgoing transactions across multiple entities. Forecast daily cash position by analyzing cash receipts and disbursements. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company's overall cash position. Maintain integrity and accuracy across all financial transactions and reporting. Follow standard procedures to improve efficiency in collections, transfers, disbursements, and month-end closing. Maintain secure backups of all financial data and records. Navigate and optimize workflows within our newly deployed ERP system. Connect ERP general ledger data with Treasury Management Software (TMS) platforms, including Yardi, Trovata, and Airtable, to automate data flows. Oversee multi-entity cash movements, including journal entries for all daily, weekly, and monthly cash settlements. Ensure all account activity is fully reconciled on a timely basis. Coordinate and manage quarterly distributions to investors. Coordinate with banking partners for the opening of new accounts and resolution of account issues. Liaise with banks to address account queries and escalations. Review, interpret, and act on bank advice, wire confirmations, funding notices, and transaction documentation to ensure accuracy and proper recordkeeping. Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field. 5+ years of experience in financial systems management or hybrid treasury/accounting roles. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in spreadsheet automation and data visualization. Hands-on experience with ERP systems, specifically Yardi; experience with Trovata and Airtable is preferred. Understanding of multi-entity corporate structures and general ledger journal entries. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with automated cash forecasting and liquidity modeling. Prior exposure to ERP migrations or system integration projects.
CPA, CTP
(Certified Treasury Professional), or equivalent credential is a plus. Experience in the commercial real estate industry preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day) at a desk or workstation. Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents. Ability to read and interpret financial data, spreadsheets, and tax forms. Occasionally lift and carry files or office supplies up to 20 lbs.
