Here at The Lodge at Cadron Ridge, we offer dog boarding, daycare, training and grooming services. We're looking for an Administrative Pet Coordinator to create exceptional experiences for pet parents and their furry family members. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 1-6 PM. You love dogs. You're fast paced, self-driven with a strong sense of urgency. You're organized and detail oriented. You thrive when you have multiple challenges on your plate. You like to work with others and build a teamwork consensus You're lively, enthusiastic and a very strong communicator.
What You'll Do:
As the Administrative Pet Coordinator , you are the first and last impression of our resort. You'll run the front desk and lobby while ensuring pets and pet parents feel confident and cared for.
Your responsibilities include:
Greeting clients and pets warmly Managing check-ins and check-outs Booking boarding, daycare, grooming, and training reservations Answering phones, emails, and voicemails promptly Processing payments and balancing transactions Obtaining and verifying vaccination records Managing waitlists during peak seasons Recommending services and activity packages that meet client needs Communicating pet updates and concerns to leadership Keeping lobby and front areas clean and safe Occasionally assist with social media You'll also jump in to help the team when needed — which may include handling pets, cleaning up occasional messes, and staying flexible in a fast-paced environment. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is: Friendly, confident, and professional Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable multitasking in a busy lobby Strong with phones, scheduling, and computer systems Comfortable giving tours, recommending services, selling packages, upselling services Calm and solution-focused when handling customer concerns Passionate about dogs You must be able to: Work around our Peak Season/Holidays. Most holidays, our lobby is closed, however, you must be available for drop-off and pick-up during peak days leading up to and after the holiday. Peak Season includes summers, spring break, Thanksgiving break, Christmas break/New Years, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day. Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Work in a busy, sometimes noisy environment Handle dogs of all sizes safely Experience 1-2 years in a sales or customer service-related role Excellent customer service skills Previous sales experience (preference for prior work in a sales quota structure) Functional computer skills required - MS Office basic programs (word, excel), Internet, Basic computer program software use. High school diploma required. Resume must be current, and include references.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Must be able to check dogs in and out and manage leashed dogs during the check in process.
Other Requirements:
Must love dogs.
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
